What a start to 2021 it has been. New job, always busy, continuously traveling, alternating weekends between Michigan and Florida, trying to improve my golf game, spending time with my Dad, reading… It’s been a wild ride thus far and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. I’ve taken some time to reflect more than I usually do… I’m incredibly blessed and grateful for my life and the people close to me. My Dad, my girlfriend, my incredible friends (a great group of guys), and my new job have enabled me to have a great support system, like a board of directors, except for my life. I am just really happy.

Spending time with my Dad has been the highlight of my year so far! I am living in Hastings every other weekend, and this has allowed my dad and I to spend some awesome quality time together! My Dad has been upgrading his garage (like it could be any more badass?) so we spend a lot of time out in the mancave. We both just got new golf clubs and have already been out a few times this year. I recently got a Ping Pong table for my Dad’s garage and we have bonded overplaying some competitive games. It’s been the honor of a lifetime to have my Dad not only as my father but as a best friend. In 2021 we have become even closer, and I’ve enjoyed every moment we get to spend together. I’m also looking forward to getting out on the water again!

I flip-flop between Michigan and Florida on weekends to see my beautiful and loving girlfriend Meghan. She is amazing, and our relationship has blossomed into a true friendship where we support each other and have endless fun. For those that do not know her, she is attending The University of St. Augustine in Miami, Florida where she is pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and is the Top Student in her entire class! Way to go babe! She brings joy to my day with her smile, humor, and intelligence. We have so much planned for the rest of the year. I can’t wait to make memories with you, Meghan!

Living back in Hastings every other weekend has been awesome also because of my friends. Kicking it with my buddies never gets old, no one has more fun than us, it’s not even close. From growing up together to now all grown up and all living our own lives… Nothing beats us all getting back together to reminisce on old times and planning out what’s ahead. We are frequent visitors to the golf course, gun club, and the Euchre table. We recently started a new tradition of Ping Pong tournaments every other month, what a blast!

I am looking forward to the remainder of 2021, it’s going to be one hell of a time. I know there will be endless fun and lifelong memories I am going to create with my friends and family. A healthy combination of working hard at Redzone and continuing to enjoy life is in the forecast for my near future. I am still looking at relocating to Florida but with overpriced housing and an uncertain economy, I am content with where I am as of right now.

-I am currently on a plane to Denver, Colorado when I decided to write this. No one truly cares about this update but hopefully, I can look back on it one day and laugh. What’s most important is that this personal update means a lot to me and might mean something to someone close to me.
